Chester Chest™ - 400P A life-sized realistic torso, Chester Chest helps health professionals learn to use the IVAD, CVC and PICC-common types of authentic clinical vascular access devices. These devices permit fluid infusion and withdrawal.
Advanced Venipuncture Training Aid™ - 365 Use the Advanced Venipuncture Training Aid™ - 365 to improve competency and technique when starting IVs by progressing from larger easier veins to smaller more difficult veins. The Model 365 is easy to set up and store.
Venipuncture Training Aids 352/354 These Venipuncture Training Aids provide realistic practice on venipuncture techniques, including using the new 'no stick' IV catheters. Model 352 has two veins of different sizes positioned at the same depth; Model 354 has three veins of different sizes as well as one deeply-placed vein.
Nita Newborn™ - 800 The vein size and wall thickness of Nita Newborn™ - 800 feel and look like the veins of a 4 lb., 16" female newborn. Using this anatomically correct model, you can review the principles, skills and tools you need for standard venipuncture, central venous catheter, peripherally inserted central catheter (PICC) and umbilical catheter.
Seymour Butts™ - 900 You'll find Seymour Butts™ - 900 is the most comprehensive wound care model of its kind. The model includes all four stages of pressure ulcers (bedsores) plus an unstageable eschar, a sutured incision, herpes, anal fistula and candidiasis. Use the model to review wound cleansing, classification, staging, assessment and dressing.
Peter PICC Line™ - 600 Use the Peter PICC Line™ - 600 to review the principles and tools needed to validate the knowledge and skills involved in inserting the Peripherally Inserted Central Catheter (PICC). It's the only teaching model of its kind.
Injectable Training Arms - 698/958/995 Teach venipuncture and injection techniques, including how to start IVs and introduce catheters, using the Injectable Training Arms - 698/958/995. Veins are accessible at the antecubital fossa, along the forearm and on the back of the hand. Both adult and pediatric models are available.
Arin Apron™ - 220 Patients can practice pre- or post-op self-care with central venous catheters (CVC) wearing the Arin Apron™ - 220. This unisex chest model includes two real CVCs already positioned on the left and right sides of the apron. This model is the ideal way to help patients overcome their fear of making mistakes.
Custom Molded Skins At VATA Inc., we're well known for our custom molded skins and for manufacturing custom demonstration kits for medical products. We're available for special applications and can supply one component or a complete product with graphics and interior compartments.
Chester Chest Refurbishing Because training models represent a considerable investment for our clients, we are now offering a Chester Chest Refurbishing service. We can restore your well-used Chester Chest model to new condition for about half the cost of a new model.
